Homestays.in is an accommodation booking website that allows travelers to book their holiday stay in non-hotel accommodations like homestays, farm stays, rural house stays, guest houses, cottages, beach villas, Eco retreats, nature resorts, bungalows, condos, B&Bs and jungle resorts in India.

Homestays.in enlists handpicked and reviewed properties. You will also find varied types of properties that suit your requirements and fit the bill on the kind of getaway you are looking for. Homestays.in does not charge any booking fee and the prices are competitive.

How can I make a booking on Homestays.in?

It is a simple process. Search for a getaway as per your requirements and select an accommodation that suits you the best. Enter the dates of check-in and check-out, your name, email address and phone number and select the room you like. We will then get in touch with you to confirm your booking.

Do I need an account to search for properties?

No, you do not need an account on Homestays.in to search for properties.

Do I need to login to book any properties?

Yes, you need to create an account and login to make a booking on Homestays.in.

Are there any fees to make bookings via Homestays.in?

There are no additional fees for make bookings on Homestays.in. However, there may be additional taxes such as Government Service Tax and Swachh Bharat Cess.

What happens when I send an enquiry?

On Homestays.in, there are two types of properties. One is where you can send an enquiry to the home owners directly and the other is where you send an enquiry to the reservations team at Homestays.in. If you send an enquiry via our Quick Messaging system to the property owner, they will respond to you with the availability and final rates. Once we receive an email with your details and our Travel Advisor will get in touch with you regarding the availability and quotation based on details provided by you.

What are the payment options?

We accept payment by Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer. The First (Cash) and the last (Bank Transfer) are the most recommended options, since they are quicker. This way we can confirm your booking at the earliest.

Do you accept payment by Credit Cards?

We do not accept payment by credit or debit cards at the moment.

Can I cancel my booking once it is confirmed?

You may cancel your booking, if the property owners accept the cancellation; however, the cancellation policies and charges for all accommodations differ.

Can I get a refund for my confirmed booking?

The cancellation policies and charges for various properties are different; hence the refund amount may be varied. However, note that most of the properties have a ‘No cancellation and No refund’ policy. You may however, request them to change the dates.

How can I know that my booking is confirmed?

Once you intimate us that you would like to confirm your booking, we will send you an invoice which will have the payment options and our bank details. Once we receive full payment from you, we will send you a confirmation voucher. Your booking will be confirmed only on receiving the full amount due.
